Just got back home from an amazing five day break at Lynn Wynn cottage. We have waited over two years for this break Due to covid and wow what a place to stay. We were so happy to finally be meeting Linda and we weren't disappointed at all. What a thoughrouly enchanting lady linda is and so was the cottage and garden.
Nothing was too much bother not that we needed to worry in that respect as she certainly had all bases covered. The property was delightful and had everything you could possibly need including the fantastic four poster king sized bed with plenty of storage.
The area was also very nice and a lovely pub on your doorstep. Via a 5 minute walk through woodland following the river to pub.
We certainly booked a great week for the weather too as temperatures soared to 32 degrees one day. The hot tub was so inviting we spent most days just soaking in the bubbles. I have to give the final words for Linda a truly genuine and kind soul with great knowledge on the area around you. So sorry we missed saying goodbye to you Linda due to a mix up of timings. But not to worry because we would rather be saying hello again than goodbye. So until our next stay with you .
Regards Darren and Jenny, Daisy says woof woof.

Darren Spooner,

Returning once again after many many visits is testimony to the delights of this little slice of heaven and tranquility.
The highlights these time were spending my birthday meal with Linda at The George III pub on the estuary road on the way to Dolgellau with a tranquil warm evening and super skies viewed from the pub balcony with a glass in hand and a yummy pudding to fill my tummy.
The other was our anniversary meal at The Bay on the way to Barmouth. Again a yummy meal and sunset views from the terrace overlooking over the sea/bay.
Linda is a great host with every desire fulfilled. She makes this place as extra special as she herself is.

Jackie and Wayne Statham,

Thank you Ms Drake for a most enjoyable weekend in your fabulous cottage. Everything you could wish for was catered for. So cosy and clean, it's a credit to you. We hope to return to this splendid accommodation in such pleasant surroundings. Best wishes from Ian & Margaret

Ian Hodgkiss,

What a wonderful week we have just had at Llwyn Ynn Cottage. Beautiful cottage and surroundings, loved laying in that sooooo comfortable bed with the window open listening to the river tumbling on it's way, and time spent in the conservatory watching the squirrel. Linda is such a lovely, friendly host, and always on hand if you need her. Highly recommended. Thank you Linda.

Sue & Stephen Tyrer ,

Thank you Linda for making the cottage so lovely and our happy place. We returned for yet another visit from which we never fail to enjoy and at the end feel totally rested and relaxed. We enjoyed the new Bbq area by the river and it felt like we were a million miles away. Fish n chips by the river was great too. Pick up chips from The Mermaid chip bar in Barmouth in your cool bag and they stay toasty hot.
I felt inspired to write a poem (first page of the visitor book) abd I also painted the cottage garden. To stay the cottage brought out my creative juices would be an understatement. Try it and see what wonderful creations you can produce. You might be surprised. Our chill sessions on the beaches and sessions in the hot tub left us revitalised and ready to face whatever the future holds. We love it here its our
Very happy place !

Jackie and Wayne Statham ,

Once again we had a fantastic time at this beautiful cottage. Great location and idyllic setting. Thank you Linda x

Diane Brunt,

We visited here in January for a nice little get away. Wow. What an amazing place. This hidden gem was fantastic! Lying in the hot tub at night gazing at the stars. Great selection of walks close by and lots of adventuring to be had. We loved it so much that we have booked to go back again! Not to be missed♥

Georgina and Richard,

Really lovely cottage. Warm welcome upon arrival. Super enclosed garden, excellent for dogs. Linda's a great host and helped make our stay a memorable one. The hot tub was fabulous especially on the cold days. We plan to return. Thank you, Linda.

Lawrence and Chris,

Thank you Linda for a perfect long weekend break. We stayed for three nights and wished we had booked for longer. We wanted somwhere with a hot tub and when we saw the photos of your beautiful cottage we were sold! Great location, peaceful and beautiful setting, the cottage has all you need and the hot tub is just perfect especially with a glass of prosseco on a chilly November evening!
You are a lovely lady and made us feel welcome and the little touches such as wine, milk, jam and Welsh cakes just makes it so much more personal. Ruby (our quiet little staffy) loved walks on the beach nearby and along the river which is on your door step (and also the odd visit to the local pub you recommended) she then settled down nicely in front of the log fire!! See you next year.

Claire Jones,

We took a late October 2016 getaway break, and stayed at this beautiful cottage. The welcome from Linda was exceptional, with wine, chocolates, guidance, and local information. The cottage is in a great location, and is so secluded and private. River walks, pub, restaurant, shops and beach within walking distance. The facilities in the cottage are second to none, with 4 poster bed, hot tub, good kitchen, excellent dining area over looking the wonderful garden. We had a fantastic break and will return again. Highly recommended.

Phil and Anne W,

This little haven is more like heaven and it heals. To say its magical is an understatement. We love it and have visited 9times.
Jackie, Wayne and Bonnie the dog

Jackie Statham,

Dear Linda, Thank you so much for having us! :) we had the best time! The photos on your website just don't do the cottages justice! You have such a beautiful place that is nicely hidden away so when you arrive you really get the wow factor :) you made us feel so welcome and were so helpful in advising us where to go and what to see. We are so happy we stayed and hope to get back there again! Anyone looking for a peaceful getaway this is your place! :)

Tenille,

Hospitality that will make you want to stay on or keep coming back. Highly recommended, with memorable moments too many to mention. Thank You.

Jason Gadsden,

What a beautiful cottage, in a beautiful location. Llwyn Ynn Cottage is.
My partner and I stumbled across this little gem, whilst looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat to visit (with our dogs) for rest and recuperation. The cottage, with its cosy lounge with wood burner, hot tub and comfortable four poster bed, is the perfect place. With fantastic woodland walks right on the doorstep including down to the beaches, and within a short drive to Snowdonia National Park walks, the scenery that you can stroll around in is breathtaking (literally, you can walk for miles/hours or up steep mountains!). The dogs loved all three walks a day and we enjoyed recovering in the hot tub.
Linda the owner, is a caring and wonderful host. She cooked her famous Moroccan Chicken on the first night, delivered it to us with a welcoming smile and it was delicious. Her thoughtful little touches in the cottage (hamper, chilled wine, fluffy bath robes) were also well received. She kindly hooked me up with the local equestrian centre, which fulfilled a dream to gallop on a sandy beach. Wow! What a memory to take away along with all the others from Linda's cottage.
We will definitely be visiting Llwyn Ynn Cottage in 2014 and will be counting down the days til we're there again.

Kimberley & Gavin,

We have just returned from our fantastic honeymoon at Llwynn ynn. Linda was so lovely and had thought of everything - we loved the fizz, the chocolates, the bathrobes, the slippers ... The cottage is beautiful, as is the location. It truly was the best accommodation we have ever stayed in and ticked all the boxes - pub within walking distance, amazing beaches and walks close by. What a fab break! We loved everything about it and can't wait to go back (and we've never said that about anywhere we have been before). Thank you again for a really special week that we will always remember.

Neil & Charlotte,

We have just visited Llwyn Ynn Cottage for the first time. We booked for a long weekend and wished we could have stayed longer, there are so many places to visit and the views are spectacular what a lovely time we had, we can't praise it enough. Linda is warm and welcoming without ever being intrusive.
On our arrival to the cottage we were welcomed by Linda and shown around. In the kitchen she had very thoughtfully put a bottle of wine in the fridge and a basket of breakfast essentials, tea coffee etc. were also waiting for us. In the bedroom chocolates had been placed on our pillows, all these little touches made it even more special. The Hot Tub was brill, I thought my husband was going to stay in there forever.
Everything was perfect Linda we can't wait to return to recharge our batteries. X
Sandra and Ray Wilkins 9th Sept 2013

Sandra and Ray Wilkins,

Home after our second visit to Llwyn Ynn, the first being Oct 2011. We had forgotten just how comfortable this lovely cottage is and how quickly it feels like home. The welcoming goodies make it feel even more special. There is so much to do in this beautiful part of Wales, we only regret that because there is so much to see outside of the cottage we didn't have enough time to spend inside! We could have done with a second week to chill out watching the wildlife in the garden...and of course spend more time in the hot tub. Linda is so welcoming, we look forward to seeing her again and spending time in her lovely cottage in the future. Couldn't recommend this lovely cottage highly enough for a romantic getaway. Wish we were there now!

Julie Rolls,

We had an absolutely wonderful time, your cottage and garden are absolutely beautiful, so relaxing and as for the hot tub; well we just wanted to bring it home!

Everything was perfect, we really enjoyed it, if anything wish we had booked for an extra couple of days. And think our dogs would wish we had booked to stay forever!! Many thanks for your all your help prior to our arrival.

Rebecca and Dean,

Just returned from our 3rd visit we were very sorry to leave.Lovely relaxing cottage . Cold wine looking at the stars in the hot tub
wonderful. Lovely walks and Linda a real star.Thank you

JANINE AND PETER CLIFFORD,

Fantatsic hideaway - great location well catered accomodation. Everything you could need for a relaxing weekend. Would highy recommend.

kate & Mike,

We visited Llwyn Ynn Cottage on recommendation of the Statham family, to celebrate Simon's birthday. It is very much a hidden gem, a warm cosy cottage with every comfort, delightful goodies to welcome us.. We even were able to watch Brased Off a film I've been trying to see for years! Whether you go out or stay in you will finish your week feeling relaxed. We very much enjoyed the walk across the estuary rail bridge at Barmouth (and then watched the Julia Bradbury Railway Walks Discovering Snowdonia programme when we got home that focuses on it), lunch at the dog friendly Last Inn. In contrast the following day in brilliant sunshine we walked up the river from the cottage to above the tree line and all the way to a lake. It was a stunning walk and the views as we climbed of the sea and the snow covered mountains were breathtaking. Would also recommend Harlech Beach, the dogs adored it. At the cottage, the conservatory is the bet place for eating, reading and wildlife watching. We watched the naughty squirrels, the numerous Goldfinches, the Great Tits nesting in the nest box, Redpolls. We loved the hot tub, and spent a beautifully clear evening watching the stars, saw Orions Belt and watched Jupiter drift by. Be sure you put the coloured lights on in the tub and have a bottle of something sparkling! Linda is a wonderful cook, her Chicken Tagine, full of intense flavours and delicious, followed by Moussaka, Greek Salad and yummy Profiteroles for he birthday meal! All in all a wonderful experience. Many thanks Linda, we shall return!

Feb 2013

Sue & Simon, Teddy & Millie the Bichon Frises,

We stayed for a week in October for our mini-moon and it was lovely, the setting is fantastic, like a different world. The house itself is very cosy with reclining sofas and a gorgeous 4 poster bed. Linda left us some lovely little treats when we arrived (breakfast basket, chocs and posh shower gel) and definitely ask her to cook her Moroccan chicken, it's beautiful, best meal we had while we were there! We took our little cocker spaniel with us; he loved the scenic walks around near the river. Tal y bont is within easy reach of many places of interest including snowdonia, betswy coed and loads more. This cottage really has everything, would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway!

Jade, Jason and Jasper,

This was our 3rd time to this beautiful cottage. We did what we always do and took in the lovely surroundings and spent the week relaxing, eating and drinking, as well as enjoying star gazing in the hot tub.

The hamper and wine were very much appreciated and a taste of Lindas' Homemade Moroccan Chicken is highly recomended. Linda is a fantastic Host who always goes the extra step to make you feel special. The garden is beautiful and for those bird watchers out there you will not be dissappointed.

If you are looking for a place to unwind and shut the world away this place is perfect. Alternatively if you are after an activity based holiday you are in an ideal location for everything that Snowdonia has to offer.

Lola our dog loves the walks in the forest next to the river behind the cottage as well as along to beautiful beach just down the Road.

I am already consulting the diary for my 4th Visit.

Lieann & Virgil,

We have just left the haven of Llynn Ynn cottage. We had an amazing week with our little dog. The cottage is so romantic and equipped with every attention to
detail. The little touches like the wine, chocs and cake make it so special.
Linda is a wonderful caring person who makes your pleasure her business and
nothing is too much trouble. Linda is also great company and happy to spare her
time for a chat over a glass or wine or a meal. But if it's quality romantic
couple time you need she won't disturb you. We had some fantastic walks and
enjoyed the scenery so much. The beaches are hard to beat to blow away the
cobwebs. At the end of a long walk the hot tub under the stars is a must,
followed by a cosy eve by a roaring fire before a blissfull sleep in a huge four poster. We hope to be back as soon as we can.
Jackie and Wayne Statham and Ralph the dog. X

Wayne & Jackie and Ralph,

We stayed at the Llwyn Ynn Cottage in September 2012 for a birthday getaway. The cottage was fantastic! A perfect getaway for couples. We had complete privacy at all times. We enjoyed the walks down the river, which is just a short distance from the cottage. The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub at night time is a must. Nearby there are some lovely beaches and some good restaurants, such as Tony's Italian restaurant and The Last Inn at Barmouth.

Thank you for your lovely hospitality Linda, we hope to see you again in the future!

Carly and David,

Peter & Caroline Grime,

The most beautiful, secluded, picturesque and romantic cottage I have ever seen. The perfect setting for our honeymoon, Linda is an absolute star nothing was to much. We were welcomed with chocolates, sparkling wine and rose petals on the bed. My husband and I spent many nights in the hot tub under the stars. Then we would sit in front of the log burner listening to the river flowing by. A truley magical and relaxing time, thanks for everything Linda, hopefully see you next year for our anniversary.

Lizzy Nicholls,

The cottage was lovely and romantic. It was near the pub and walking distance to the beach. It rained every day,but we couldn't have hoped for more from the cottage, and it didn't dampen our spirits,we still had a fantastic holiday and did everything we wanted to. The roads and countryside were lovely to drive through, and it didn't take long to get anywhere. Thanks Linda.

Beccy and Malcy,

stayed in this charming romantic cottage for my 50th birthday. The accomodation is 5* . My partner and I had a wonderful week. There are walks on your door steps. The beach also within walking distance. Linda was a wonderful host. You can not but love this cottage. I recomend this highly.

Anna-Marie Boyton,

We couldnt fault the cosy romantic cottage in its perfect location and Linda made us feel very welcome, the added touch of chocolates on our pillows and wine cooling in the fridge made us feel very special. The local beaches are beautiful and the river that runs close by is magical, as all of the scenery is. The hot tub is a perfect end to the day, whether you've just been lazing or walking and taking in the breathtaking scenery. Thank you Linda x

Audrey and Jeff Hollington Essex,

Didn't see much of Wales due to the pull of this amazing cottage. Really relaxing, beautiful garden, fantastic hot tub and Linda (the owner) is extremely warm and welcoming. She even invited us to join in her Jubilee celebrations with lots of lovely food and company. Thanks again, we had a great time.

Just returned from a break at this wonderful cottage. Such a relaxing place to stay, away from it all and so quiet.
Thanks to Linda for the kind hospitality, and the wine and hamper which was a nice touch, and much appreciated.
